Children's Church

Welcome to the Children's Program at Unity!

Our children's program officially begins at 10:30 and ends at 11:30 with the adult service. You may drop off your kids (babies to 13), beginning at 10:15am. Or you may choose to stay with your baby during our program and enjoy the children's program with us. All kids are welcome!

The children share in snack, songs, meditation, affirmations, stories and crafts led by an adult teacher and assistant. These activities are designed to promote co-operation among members of a mulit-aged grouping in our large children's space. Toys for toddlers are also available.

We have weekly themes and lesson plans. First-time visitors receive an overview of Unity's basic priniciples along with a detailed explanation of our curriculum. Your family is welcome to make use of the "Family ideas" included.

Unit 3: Compassion

Dear Families,

This month we are exploring ways that we can show compassion. Our actions can be directed at other people, animals or the environment.
They younger children read how Jesus fed the 5000. They saw that when everyone shares, there is enough to go around.
The older children read about Jesus healing the Canaanite woman's daughter. We talked about how they can help their friends.

Week 1: I share God's love when I help others.

Week 2: I share God's love when I take care of my world.
